Our Story

Welcome to Olenza Beauty Loft, formerly Rico of Italy, a long standing business on the Kingsway in West End Toronto, 70 years to be exact. We would like to acknowledge the original owner as well as all of the loyal clients who have been coming to the salon and supporting this business for so many years. There are generations of family members who have come to the salon and we would like to say thank you for your love and support all of these years. Rico of Italy is now a women-owned business and we felt it was time to celebrate this with a rebrand and a new name.

 

Enza Caracciolo has been a hair stylist at the salon for over 30 years and an owner for the past 8. Olivera Lekic is a new owner who is an aesthetician specializing in skin care. She has been tucked away in the back of the salon for the last 4 years and has operated her own skin care business since 2010. With a similar vision for the future salon, Olenza was a match made in heaven!

 

You will recognize the same faces that have worked at Rico of Italy, some for over 30 years. Jasmina was an owner for the past 8 years but has stepped away from ownership to focus on providing outstanding hair services for her clients. Brian, Neerala, Fiona and Daniela are our longstanding hair team and will continue to provide the trusted hair service you have come to expect and enjoy. We also provide spa services which we are excited for you to experience and can’t wait for you to meet our estheticians. 

 

Our mission is to enhance the natural beauty of our clients and help them feel confident and uplifted after each visit. We achieve this by providing personalized beauty services with the highest level of expertise, attention to detail, and education in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
